School Dances

Black Light dances are one of the most popular dances for Bay Area and Central Coast schools. This is true for the Sadie Hawkins dance, Mardi-Gras, Halloween, Winter Ball, Junior and Senior Proms, and Grad Night dances. Massive Sounds' music selection will help set the tone for a successful event. Contact us for special pricing on school dances. Massive Sounds reserves the right to not play any songs with obscene, violent, or sexually explicit material. Being able to play all of the edited versions of songs has helped Massive Sounds maintain long-term relationships with all the Bay Area and Central Coast schools we service. We also have long-term contracts with public, private and Catholic schools. Schools love us on Yelp. Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions

Wedding professionals agree that good entertainment is the key to having a successful wedding. The music is the most important part of your reception. Your guests may not remember the food, the venue or the photography, but they will remember the good (or bad) time they had. The Disc Jockey is the person that can make a difference for your special engagement. According to Modern Bride Magazine, only 5% of your overall budget will be spent on entertainment. Therefore, Massive Sounds understands that we have only one time to make this event perfect; there is no second chance. Pricing

Pricing Your Event with DJ Guy of Massive Sounds

Price Quote

Unlike other DJ services, Massive Sounds does not operate on a basic rate of 4 hours. Events may vary on location and number of hours. The commonality makes it easier to compare prices. Plus, there is never any sales tax! For a personalized quote feel free to call our DJ line or email us. All out-of-area events are at the discretion of DJ Guy and Massive Sounds. Holiday Rates Vary.

Retainer needed to reserve your date

A signed Agreement and a deposit retainer fee are required to secure any event. Deposit is Non-refundable. Balance is due prior to performance or in cash only on day of the event. Deposit is due upon receipt of contract.

DJ Services include Super Dance Floor Lighting where applicable

Lighting includes LED- ADJ Stinger Lights installed on Truss I-Beam. All Massive Sounds lighting is manufactured by American Audio. Black lights and Up lighting are available upon request for an additional fee. DJ's proper spacing is needed for safety!

No extra charge for lighting setup

For outside of local areas including San Jose, San Francisco, and Salinas, California, a traveling fee will apply. No Setup Charges Anywhere!

DJ will arrive at least 1 to 1 1/2 hours prior to the start of your engagement, and that time is not charged. Please note that prices are subject to change without notice per Massive Sounds agreement.

Cities include San Jose, CA and Surrounding Areas such as Santa Clara, Los Gatos, Fremont, Gilroy, Morgan Hill, Hollister, and Salinas.
